Little cardboard eclipse-viewing glasses were a hot commodity in Rock County Monday.
The Hedberg Public Library in Janesville was abuzz, hosting a party for citizens to come together and check out the solar eclipse.
In addition to giving out 500 pairs of eclipse-viewing glasses, the library showed NASA’s live coverage of the event in its program room room, and even used a disco ball to project dozens of images of the eclipse onto the walls.
After running low on eclipse-viewing glasses the library was showing people how to make pinhole viewers.
