The Milton School Board will have a new member after Annette Smith beat out fellow challenger Daniel Hubert Tuesday.

Smith received 2,134 votes compared to Hubert’s 1,536.

Incumbent Jennifer Johns was the highest vote getter with more than 2,459 votes, and fellow incumbent Joseph Martin received 2,088 votes.

Former board member Dave Holterman, whose term expired, opted not to run for re-election.
