The YWCA of Rock County has launched a new campaign called 100 Empowered Women.

Executive Director Heidi Deininger says the goal of the campaign is to raise the first $100,000 or more towards their Strengthening and Vision fund, and they’re asking 100 women to raise at least $1,000.

Deininger says the fund will have a long-term positive impact on the community, especially women and children, and helping drive the campaign has been the purchase of land adjacent to the YWCA.
