The Rock County Department of Public Works will be doing some tree work for the next week and a half or so.

In a release, Assistant Director of Public Works Nick Elmer says work will be done along the County Highway Q corridor from County Highway D east to the Rock River.

The tree work is being done in preparation for a Wisconsin DOT STP-urban project scheduled for this summer, and the project includes a full depth mill and overlay, spot curb and gutter repairs, storm sewer installation, and an off highway pedestrian path.

The work will be done for the remainder of this week, and through next Friday, February 9th.
