A 30-year-old Janesville man, released on bond for domestic violence charges, is accused of returning to the same home and creating another domestic disturbance. A Janesville police news release indicates Derrick Donte Stevenson was released from jail late Friday, only to be arrested again early Saturday morning at a home in the 900 Block of Riverside Drive, just nine-hours after being released from jail. Stevenson had been arrested at the same residence in October on charges including False Imprisonment, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Domestic Abuse, and 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. Police say Stevenson’s original bond was $100,000, but was reduced to $1000 on Friday.
