The deadline to sign up for the Salvation Army Rock County’s Christmas assistance programs is December 8th.

Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator Michelle Adkins says the Salvation Army provides everything a family would need for a holiday meal with the Christmas basket program.

Families can also sign up for the Angel Tree program to receive gifts.

Adkins says the Salvation Army is also always in need of volunteer bell-ringers to man its red kettles.
