The Walworth County Board is giving members of the public one more chance to weigh in on the 2024 budget before adopting it at their November 7th meeting.
If the Walworth County Board approves the 2024 budget as it sits now, the tax levy would only increase a little over one percent.
Walworth County Administrator Mark Luberda says the county was supported well by the new state supplemental shared revenue appropriation that was adopted over the summer by the state legislature.
Luberda says the public hearing is happening on October 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the government center in Elkhorn.
