A major Janesville thoroughfare is open to traffic again.

East Milwaukee Street Project Engineer Colten Tuesher says the rain Friday did cause the cancellation of ribbon cutting ceremonies.

Tuesher says the signals were turned on at Atwood Avenue and Main Street Friday afternoon.

Tuescher says the project was only a couple days behind because of the weather – still well within the range of acceptability.
