
Four people are seeking two open seats on the Beloit town board.
Candidates running in the Beloit Town Board got an extra three days to file nomination papers after incumbent Town Supervisor James Packard Junior fails to file a declaration of non-candidacy.
In the race for town board supervisor, the four people who turned in papers are former Beloit City Council member Marilyn Sloniker, incumbent John Pelock, former Police Chief Steven Kopp, and former town board supervisor Jim Stevens.
In the race for town board chairperson, incumbent Diane Greenlee was the only person to file nomination papers.
The election is Tuesday, April 4th.
