The aroma of charcoal-grilled chicken will permeate the air in Riverside Park in Janesville this Saturday.

Janesville Lions Club Past President Eric Kuznacic says the annual Chicken Roast begins at 11:00 a.m. in conjunction with the Riverside Park Music Festival.

Tickets are $13 in advance, or $15 the day of the event, and include a fresh-grilled half-chicken dinner.

Proceeds from the Chicken Roast fundraiser benefit the Janesville Lions Club’s community projects and services, including their ongoing effort to build a large, permanent picnic pavilion at Lions Beach.
