The Rock County Board of Supervisors awarded three different contracts at Thursday night’s board meeting.

The board awarded a contract in the amount of more than 9 million dollars to Westphal Electric of Janesville for the electrical work for the Law Enforcement Services and Jail renovation project.

The board also awarded a contract of $469,680 to Finish Excavating Inc. of Dubuque Iowa for the installation of a new 195 foot tall 911 communications tower and equipment room.

Finally, the board awarded a contract in the amount of more than 300 thousand dollars to A-V-I Systems of Madison WI, for the Audio Visual equipment and installation at the new Information Technology Department building and the 911 Communications Center.

All three contracts passed easily.
