A 33-year-old Beloit man accused of holding a loaded gun to his wife’s neck and threatening to kill her, her entire family, and their dog waives his right to a preliminary hearing in Rock County Court.

David Song appeared in Rock County Court Monday morning where he plead not guilty to charges first-degree recklessly endangering safety, operating a firearm with a controlled substance, and disorderly conduct.

Last month Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set cash bond at $5,000 and ordered that Song have no contact with the victim – not even to retrieve his belongings.

A jury trial is expected to be scheduled at a later date.
