A second Beloit shooting in the span of five days caps off 2024.

The latest incident was reported at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Jackson Street.

Beloit police say a man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and officers rendered aid at the scene of the shooting before the unnamed victim was transported to a hospital.

Another shooting in Beloit the night of Dec. 26 left one man dead and a woman injured. Nobody has been arrested in that incident.
