A 58-year-old Sussex man is dead following a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in the town of Janesville.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the intersection of West County Highway A at North County Highway H just after 6:00 a.m.

The initial investigation determined that the Sussex man was headed south on H when he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with A and collided with a westbound vehicle operated by a 19-year-old Janesville man.

The Sussex man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Janesville man was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Rock County Medical Examiner is expected to release the name of the man who died at a later date.
