A Rock County Judge issues a bench warrant for a 23-year-old Janesville man accused of striking and killing a pedestrian back in February after he fails to show up for court Thursday morning.
24-year-old Noe Perez Reyes had been scheduled for a final pre-trial before Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch on a charge of hit-and-run causing death.
Police say 34-year-old Kelby R. Hall of Janesville ran into the roadway and was struck by Perez-Reyes’ vehicle.
Perez Reyes left the scene but was located shortly after.
He was originally being held in the Rock County Jail, but posted a $3,000 cash bond in March.
Perez Reyes’ trial is scheduled to start January 6th.
