Fort Atkinson Police issue a missing and endangered person alert for a 23-year-old man who walked away from a group home on Robert Street Monday morning.

According to a news release, Steve Rinehart is autistic and suffers from PTSD as well as other mental health diagnoses. He made suicidal statements before leaving the between 5:30 and 7:30 a.m.

Police say Steve’s cellphone was pinged just before 8:00 Monday morning and it showed the 200 block of Plymouth Street in Jefferson.

Steve was last seen wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket and baseball hat.

If anyone sees Steve, they are asked to check his welfare and contact Fort Atkinson Police.
