The Beloit School District is one of the biggest gainers in state aid data released Tuesday.

The district will receive $68.1 million during the 2024-25 school year, about $7 million more than last year for an 11.59% increase. The raw dollar increase is the seventh biggest in the state.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Clinton Community School District will see a 13.4% decrease in aid to $5.7 million. That’s the 38th largest percent decrease statewide, and of those 38, Clinton’s raw dollar amount lost was the biggest at a little more than $883,000.

The School District of Janesville will receive $75.6 million, a 5.3% increase. Milton will get $25 million for a 4.92% increase.

The Beloit Turner, Brodhead, Edgerton and Evansville districts all will see state aid increases, while the Parkview School District in Orfordville will have a small decrease.
