The 35-year-old Beloit man arrested after a standoff with police last month in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive is bound over for trial.

Cale Tinder appeared in Rock County Court Monday where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of failure to comply with police and disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon.

The Rock County Emergency Dispatch Center reports Town of Beloit police responded to a disturbance shortly after 2:00 a.m. on September 2nd where the suspect reportedly threatened a woman with a firearm.

A Rock County Sheriff’s Office news release says the woman was able to leave the residence prior to the arrival of law enforcement, but a juvenile female remained. Sheriff’s officials say after multiple hours, Tinder exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.

The girl was also released without injury.

Tinder is currently free on a $5,000 cash bond.
