A 55-year-old Coloma, Wisconsin man is free on a signature bond after a woman’s dead body was found in the sleeper area of his semi.

Beloit Police say just after 3:30 p.m. on September 26th, officers were dispatched to the report of a pulseless non-breather located in the back of a semi parked at Kettle Foods.

Officers made contact with Tracy L. Wilson who reported that he had met the victim at Flying J in South Beloit a few days prior and that they had traveled together to Missouri and back.

Police reviewed surveillance video from Kettle Foods and observed Wilson cleaning out the cab of his truck and throwing the victim’s purse with her ID in the trash.

Wilson is charged in Rock County Court with theft from a corpse.
