The Evansville Community School District is facing close to $1 million more in budget cuts if a three-year operational referendum fails this November.
Superintendent Nate Perry says a three-year non-reoccurring operational referendum that started at $2.7 million and increased to $5 million failed in April.
Perry says in the spring the district had to cut $2.1 million including 10 staff members.
This November the District is asking votes to approve a three-year non-reoccurring $2.9 million operational referendum.
Perry says it would help restore some of the cuts and address HCAV issues in district buildings.
