
A 50-year-old Janesville man charged in connection with the drunk driving crash that killed a Janesville woman appears headed to trial.
Mark D. McCoy is charged in Rock County Court with Homicide by Intoxicated Use of Vehicle, 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, 2nd degree reckless homicide, homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and three counts of felony bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, McCoy crossed the center line of South County Road D in April of 2023 and collided with a vehicle driven by 55 year old Susan Hohmann of Janesville.
Hohmann was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to online court records, McCoy’s four-day jury trial is scheduled to begin on January 27th.
He’s currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
