The Rock County Sheriff’s Office arrests a 24-year-old East Troy woman for operating while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 16.

According to a police report, a deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Christina Balciunas for improper child restraint just after 9:30 Friday night in the area of Beloit and East Burbank Avenues in Janesville.

Balciunas is accused of running from the deputy before being taken into custody for the OWI as well as an active warrant out of Walworth County.

Balciunas made her initial appearance in Rock County Court Monday where Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set a $1,000 signature bond.
