
Four Janesville businesses fail the latest round of alcohol compliance checks conducted by the Janesville Police Department.
According to a news release, Janesville Police officers worked with underage operatives between 18 and 20 years old to try to buy alcohol at 15 different gas stations, grocery stores, and liquor stores in the City.
The businesses that were cited for selling alcohol to people under 21 include: Citgo Quick Mark on North Parker Drive, TA Express, Hy-Vee, and Five Points Beverage.
The information is also forwarded to the City’s Alcohol License Advisory Committee for review.
