The victims of the February tornado near Evansville may finally getting some relief from all of the unexpected costs that insurance don’t cover.

Grants of up to $20,000 will be available through Edgerton Community Outreach to the 40 families who were identified as having been impacted by the twister.

Executive Director Sarah Williams says people that apply must prove they’ve utilized every other resource that’s available.

Williams says they hope to have the first round of applications approved in late September or early October.

The Rock County Board of Supervisors voted earlier this month to make $635,000 in ARPA funding available for tornado relief.
