Authorities arrested a Janesville woman on suspicion of drug-related offenses after searching a residence on the city’s south side Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s office says.

Valerie G. Ross, 60, faces charges of maintaining a premises for drug trafficking; possession with intent to deliver cocaine, THC and psilocybin; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Rock County SWAT team obtained a warrant to search a residence in the 2000 block of South Osborne Avenue at about 6 a.m. Tuesday. The sheriff’s offices says Adam L. Giese, 40, also was at the residence and was arrested on suspicion of a probation violation.

Ross’s first court appearance is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday.
