A 24-year-old Elkhorn woman is facing charges in connection with a three-vehicle crash in Lima Township that killed four people in April.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were dispatched to the accident on Highway 12 and East County Line Road just afternoon noon on April 13th.

Investigation determined that Lexus D. Boedecker failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by and SUV. A truck hauling a trailer of hay came along and struck Boedecker’s vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office says they concluded their investigation this week and arrested Boedecker on suspicion pf four counts of homicide by intoxicated us of a vehicle – controlled substance, one count of operating with a detectable amount of a controlled substance, and two counts of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle – controlled substance.

She’s expected to make her initial appearance in Rock County Court on August 26th.
