A new stateline taco showdown will crown the best taco in the region next month.

Geronimo Hospitality Group Director of Entertainment and Programming Ryan Hickey says the inaugural Beloit Taco Takedown will take place on August 10th from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Ironworks Campus.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste and vote for their favorite tacos,
crafted by local vendors competing for the prestigious Taco Takedown championship belt.

The event will also include drinks for purchase, a jalapeno eating contest, and live music.
