The city of Milton aims to help a concrete company get comfortable in the city’s Crossroads Business Park.

On Tuesday, Milton City Council will take a look at a proposed sale of 14 acres in the city’s east side industrial park. The city says the deal would bring a development by concrete contractor Advanced Concrete near what’s now Putman Parkway’s east end.

According to certified maps on file at the city, that’d be across the way from the United Ethanol facility.

The city has worked up a raft of agreements on the deal, including terms of a railroad crossing easement and a future rail spur for Advanced Concrete.

Part of the deal would involve the city selling the 14 acres below its fair market value.

The city says Advanced plans to build a precast concrete manufacturing facility on site, plus other improvements.

The city says eventual developments on site would bring the property’s value to more than $800,000 by 2029.
