Rock County’s Planning and Development Agency announces recovery funding for rural residents hit by the recent tornado and flooding.

The county says the funding is now available for county residents outside the cities of Janesville and Beloit who own residences damaged by the June 22 twister and recent heavy rains.

The program is available for people with household incomes between $48,550 and $80,400. It’s for structural repairs not covered by insurance.

Funding comes through a grant administered by the Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development. It requires no repayment for those eligible.

Cleanup costs and personal property loss and repair costs already incurred are not covered.

Applicants can reach out to the Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development or by calling or visiting the Rock County Planning and Development Agency at the Rock County Courthouse.
