There appear to be winners and losers when it comes to the estimated amount of state aid Wisconsin School Districts will receive next school year.

The School District of Milton is projected to receive a 5.82 percent increase in state aid.

Director of Business Services Ross MacPherson says unfortunately that number could vary wildly by the time aid amounts are certified in October.

According to DPI, the figures used in the latest estimates may change by a greater than usual amount for the certification of general school aids in October due to a delay in financial data reporting by Milwaukee Public Schools.

Out of all the school districts in Rock County, state aid is estimated to decrease the most for the Parkview School District a 2.34 percent. The Evansville Community School District has the biggest increase at 7.39 percent.
