An 18-year-old Beloit male faces felony gun charges after police say he shot bullets into a town of Beloit home following an argument with his friend last week.

Rock County criminal court documents show Alan M. Riese Jr. tells police he shot bullets through the walls of a home at the 1900 block of Church Street in the town of Beloit on May 28. He and others tell police Riese got in an argument with a pal during a car ride, and then later went by his house with a gun.

That’s when a witness who was sitting in a vehicle in the driveway says they saw a person point a black handgun with an extended clip out the window of a white car and fire multiple bullets at the house.

The drive-by shooting happened about 12:30 p.m. May 28 while people were at home. No one was hurt.

Police say after Riese shot up the house, he immediately went off to attend a local Fresh Start program for troubled teens.

Police say they caught up with Riese over at Fresh Start. He told cops he didn’t know if people were home at the house, but he says he shot up the place because he wanted to damage it.

He’s charged with reckless endangerment and destruction of property with a dangerous weapon.
