Blackhawk Technical College Talons men’s basketball coach Donte Burt is hard at work signing players.

Athletic Director Todd Voss says the Talons recently signed 6’5″ guard/forward Kolin Vance from Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona.

Vance will be majoring in Business Management, and will receive a scholarship to support his academic journey.

Two other high school seniors – both from Vel Phillips Memorial High School in Madison – have signed letters of intent to play basketball for the Talons. Aidan John plans to study Criminal Justice at Blackhawk, and Caleb Watkins will study General Education.

Competing in National Junior College Athletic Association’s Region 4 at the Division II level, the college now offers men’s golf, co-ed clay target shooting, women’s volleyball, co-ed bowling and men’s and women’s basketball.
