
A 22-year-old Albany man is held in the Rock County Jail on a $1000 cash bond o a charge of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
According to the criminal complaint, Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash in the town of Janesville early Monday morning after two iPhones notified the Rock County 911 Center of the accident. Two men could be heard discussing the need to leave the scene, with one of them indicating his legs were hurt.
Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle seen leaving the crash and found the passenger was severely injured. The driver, Travon Randolph was located hiding in the bed of the pickup.
The victim suffered a broken vertebrae, fractured right orbital bone, and possible damage to the spleen and neck.
Randolph is due back in Rock County Court on June 3rd.
