Tessa Disch has been announced as the new Director for The Downtown Janesville Business Improvement District.

In a release, BID officials say Disch will be an advocate for the downtown, and a source of information, resources, and activities related to downtown revitalization.

Disch says she’s always had a passion for the communities she’s lived in, and after deciding to purchase a home in Janesville, she knew she wanted to do more to make the community a better place.

Disch most recently worked with MercyHealth Systems.
