A 28-year-old Janesville man is accused of fleeing from a traffic stop and then crashing into another vehicle.

Janesville Police say officers tried to stop Deshawn Foreman just after 9:30 this morning in reference to an ongoing drug investigation.

When Foreman refused to stop, officers discontinued the chase. A short time later they found his crashed car at the intersection of East Court Street and South Garfield Avenue.

Foreman attempted to flee on foot but was taken into custody on suspicion of fleeing an officer, resisting arrest, recklessly endangering safety, hit and run, and bail jumping.

The driver of the vehicle Foreman hit refused medical attention.
