A 58-year-old Janesville man is accused of molesting a seven-year-old.

Tracy Huenefeld appeared in Rock County Court last week where he waived is right to a preliminary hearing on two counts of first degree child sexual assault.

According to the criminal complaint, Huenefeld has a history of hugging, poking, and tickling children in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable.

In an interview at the YWCA CARE House in February, a young girl disclosed that on multiple occasions Huenefeld would lure her to his lap with candy and then put his hands down the front of her pants.

Huenefeld was originally free on a $500 cash bond but after he failed to appear in court last month a warrant was issued for his arrest and his cash bond was increased to $5000.

He’s due back in Rock county Court for his arraignment Tuesday.
