Janesville motorists could soon have another place to get their oil changed in less time than it takes to eat lunch.
A developer submits plans to construct a new Valvoline Instant Oil Change between Carquest and Dollar Tree at 1950 Humes Road.
Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says the building would be 2000 square feet with three drive-thru service bays.
Schweigl says the project requires a conditional use permit because of the drive-thru aspect, and because the Plan Commission made it a condition in 2007 when the former Walmart on the property was redeveloped into the current multi-tenant space that includes Slumberland and Hobby Lobby.
The Janesville Plan Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing for the project at their meeting on May 6th.
