The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss the reconstruction of the Highways 81 and 213/McKinley Avenue intersection in Beloit.

Project Manager Chris Hazard says between 2017 and 2021, there have been 22 crashes in that triangle of roads.

Hazard says a public involvement meeting will take place on April 24th from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. at the Beloit Historical Society.

Construction is anticipated for 2027.
