Family Promise of Greater Beloit has named their new Executive Director, and he is excited about the opportunity ahead.

Shawn Stapleton says homelessness and poverty are struggles that many families are facing, so to be able to step into this new role and not only give them a place to stay but give them the tools they need to return to stability is an honor.

Stapleton says he’s worked with families facing homelessness in a variety of capacities for more than 25 years in places like Tampa, Florida, Kenosha, and now Beloit, and the communities might change but the challenges families face don’t.

Family Promise of Greater Beloit has provided shelter, support services, and resources to families in need in Beloit for over 23 years.
