A 41-year-old Beloit man is indicted on drug and gun crimes by a federal grand jury in Madison this week.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Denzen Jones is charged with distributing cocaine and fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, and possession a loaded firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.

The charges are the result of an investigation by the Beloit Police Department, Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the U.S. Marshals.

If convicted Jones faces a maximum sentence of 80 years in prison.
