The clean fill facility and compost site in Janesville are now officially open for the season.

Solid Waste Manager Matt Robinson says things that can be disposed of at the sites include leaves, grass clippings, yard debris, bricks, unpainted concrete, and unpainted wood.

Robinson says plaster, painted or treated materials, and metal won’t be accepted and instead should be taken to the sanitary landfill.
