The Hedberg Public Library in Janesville has its new director.

At a Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday, the board named Eric Robinson as the new leader of the library, with Robinson saying in a statement he is excited about the possibilities that are ahead.

Library Board Vice President Katy Grogan expressed her gratitude to interim director Charles Teval, saying he did more than just keep the board and library afloat while they searched for a permanent director.

Robinson’s first official day will be May 13th.
