The Rock County Veterans Service Office in Beloit will close starting on Monday as the department prepares to consolidate its two offices at one located at 1747 Center Avenue in Janesville.

Rock County Veterans Service Officer Paul Crawford says the current office at the Rock County Courthouse in Janesville will also have limited capacity starting next week as furniture, equipment, and information technology resources are prepared for the move.

Crawford encouraged veterans who need services to contact (608) 757-5552, which will continue to be the primary office contact number.

Crawford expects renovation of the new office to be completed the first week of April.
