A person of interest is in custody after the Rock Country Sheriff’s Office says a child was found dead northeast of Janesville.  A sheriff’s office news release reports deputies were sent to the 5500 block of West Miles Road at 6:13 p.m. Saturday in reference to a missing eight-year-old.  During the investigation, the child was found dead inside the residence.  The investigation is ongoing and the sheriff’s office indicates further information will be provided in a follow-up press release.
