A Family Fun Night Celebration in Evansville is capping of the Week of The Young Child.

AWARE Program Manager Amy Floan says the Week of the Young Child is a national movement that celebrates the learning of young kids between birth and age 8.

Floan says their event will feature community resources, but also animal rescue groups, 4-H animals and projects, seed planting, games, crafts, and sport and organization signups.

Family Fun Night is free and will run from 5:30 to 7:30pm on April 12th at Levi Leonard Elementary in Evansville.
