Janesville School Board Member Cathy Myers announces a run for the 44th Assembly District seat.

The Democrat says if elected she will serve out the remainder of her term on the school board, but won’t seek re-election.

Myers will face off against Ann Roe in the Democratic primary.

Incumbent Sue Conley announced last month she’s not seeking re-election.
