The Rock County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is planning its first regional conference in October.

Chairwoman Carrie Wyatt says it’s made possible thanks to a $3,500 grant from the Women’s Fund of the Stateline Community Foundation.

Wyatt say invitations for the conference should be going on next month.

Wyatt says the task force signed it’s formal MOU in 2017 and since then has educated close to 5,000 people in Rock County about human trafficking.
