
The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory in Rock County until 7:30pm Monday evening.
According to the NWS, shortly after 4pm Monday Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms and minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
The NWS says additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area and the additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Janesville, Beloit, Clinton, Richmond, Newark, Tiffany, Shopiere, and Afton.
