Cash bond is set a $1,500 for a 37-year-old Janesville man charged with five counts of possession of child pornography.

Christopher Redmond made his initial appearance in Rock County Court last week where Court Commissioner Jack Hoag also ordered that he have no contact with any minors or possess any devices that can access the Internet.

According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement received multiple tips about Redmond from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children dating back to 2021.

Redmond is due back in court on March 4th for his preliminary hearing.
