A community group in Evansville is offering a crucial platform for the community to gain insights into the perspectives and plans of the candidates vying for positions on the Evansville Community School District board of education.

There are five people seeking three open seats on the Evansville school board in April.

Becoming Better Neighbors Member Cory Neely says members of the public are invited to learn more about the candidates during a forum is happening on March 14th from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Creekside Place.

The forum will begin with opening remarks from each candidate, followed by a Q&A session where community members can pose questions to the candidates.

A previous Evansville School Board candidate forum that was planned for February 8th had to be canceled due to the tornados that touched down in the area.
